Mediation is a step-by-step process designed to give everyone a voice while working toward practical, fair solutions. Denise Waldron provides a calm, impartial space to guide respectful discussions and help you move forward with clarity.
Step 1
Initial Contact
15 minute free phone call where Denise will  explain how mediation works and answer your questions. If both parties agree to proceed, we schedule the first session
Step 2
Preparation
Each person may have a short individual meeting with Denise  (sometimes called an intake session). This gives you a chance to share your perspective privately and understand what to expect.
Step 3
Joint Mediation Sessions
We meet together (in person or online) in a safe, neutral space. Everyone has a chance to speak and be heard. Denise guides  the conversation, keeping  it respectful, and help explore options. Sessions usually last 1.5 to 2 hours.
Step 4
Working Toward Agreement
We identify the issues that matter most. Denise helps  you consider different solutions and find common ground. You stay in control of the process-  the mediator does not make decisions for you. The process is completely confidential
Step 5
Written Agreement
If you reach an understanding, Denise prepares a draft mediated  agreement. You can review it, seek legal advice if you wish, and decide how to make it official (e.g., by consent order or private agreement).
